Mitchell Park Zoo, often referred to as Mitchell Park or Mitchell’s Park, is situated in the Morningside suburb of Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. One of its most notable residents was Nellie, an Indian Elephant gifted by the Maharajah of Mysore in 1928.
